Year 5 Camp at The Tops

You are here

Over three action-packed days Wednesday 5 – Friday 7 November, our Year 5 students travelled to The Tops Conference Centre at Stanwell Tops for a camp focused on growing character and community. The program challenged students to step up as leaders and support one another through a range of collaborative activities designed to build teamwork, unity, self-worth and analytical thinking. Each day featured “Spark” talks on leadership and what it looks like to move beyond our comfort zones, trying new things, cheering on classmates and reflecting on how we grow through challenge.

A definite highlight was swimming together after a long day of activities. This was a perfect way for celebrating after a big day of activity and strengthening friendships. Across the camp, students practiced responsibility while encouraging their peers and discovering that courage often looks like taking the next small step.

We’re proud of the way Year 5 represented our College values and grateful to our dedicated staff and the team at The Tops for creating such a positive, memorable experience. Thank you, families, for your support in making this three-day adventure possible.
