Year 5 Passion Projects

You are here

Last term, our Year 5 students were busy researching, creating, and preparing their Passion Project. A highlight of our learning program that allows students to explore an area of genuine personal interest. From the early stages of brainstorming ideas to the final presentations, students demonstrated initiative, creativity and persistence as they developed their projects.

The range of topics this year was truly impressive, reflecting the diverse interests and talents within our grade. Students were passionate about so many areas. From crochet to cooking, and from coding to Go-Karts. Each project gave us a glimpse into what excites and inspires our students, as they delved a little deeper into their chosen fields and shared what they had learned.

The Passion Projects Showcase, held on Friday 26th of September in D Block and the S Block Hall, was a wonderful celebration of the students’ efforts. The venues were filled with vibrant displays, engaging demonstrations, and proud smiles as students presented their work to parents, teachers and peers. The event was very well attended by families and was an outstanding success, highlighting not only the students’ knowledge but also their confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

We are incredibly proud of all our Year 5 students for their commitment, creativity and curiosity throughout this project.
