What's Happening in Year 10

You are here

We hope you’ve had a restful and enjoyable holiday break with your families. As we begin Term 3, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on the achievements of Term 2 and look ahead to the opportunities that lie ahead.

Term 2 was a busy and rewarding time for our students. Early in the term, they undertook mid-course exams and continued to engage with assessments across subjects. We were especially proud of the many Year 10 students who participated in MADE for Stage, showcasing their creativity and talents in a vibrant celebration of the arts. Unite Week was another highlight, bringing our college community together to celebrate the rich cultural diversity that makes our school so special.

As we enter Term 3, we encourage students to stay focused and continue building strong study habits that will support them in Years 11 and 12. This term is a great opportunity to consolidate learning and prepare for the challenges ahead.

We also invite parents to begin conversations with their children about leadership opportunities within the college. Roles such as House Vice Captains (beginning in Term 4) and the Peer Support Program (starting Term 1 next year) offer valuable experiences in responsibility, teamwork, and service. Your encouragement can make a real difference in helping students see their potential and take that next step.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to a productive and inspiring Term 3 together.
