The College provides an after-hours Study Centre designed to support students' academic progression. The Centre is staffed by highly qualified Thomas Hassall alumni who have achieved an ATAR exceeding 90 or a Band 6 in one or more subjects. These tutors are equipped to provide structured homework guidance, reinforce course content, and assist students with organization and assessment planning.
Operational Details
- Operating Hours: Monday to Thursday, 3.00PM to 5.00PM.
- Location: Rooms J6, J7, and J8 within the STEM building (J Block).
- Student Collection: Students must be collected promptly at 5:00 PM from the J Block Carpark. This area is accessible via Gate 3, located directly outside the STEM building.
Changes to Study Centre Processes:
We are asking you to nominate the days your child will attend. For your convenience, you can sign them up for the whole year, for a casual booking, or even before or after extra-curricular activities. If their days change throughout the year, you can use the same form to amend their attendance.
If your child is absent, you will receive an email to notify you that they are not at Study Centre. This change is to ensure we have an accurate record of who is on site after 3pm.
