During the April Holidays, Thomas Hassall Anglican College travelled abroad to Japan. From cruising Lake Kawaguchiko with a view of Mt Fuji to the magic of Disneyland, every moment was one to remember.

They visited sister schools Fukuroi High School and Takayama Junior High, sharing in classroom life, calligraphy and music through a memorable brass band performance. While in Takayama, students also stopped by the observatory and explored the stunning Lockhart Castle.

Their travels continued through Kyoto’s cherry blossoms, the iconic torii gates of Fushimi Inari, and historic landmarks like Nijo Castle. A deeply moving visit to Hiroshima and Miyajima followed, before rounding out the tour in Osaka. Here are some of the highlights:
