Basketball

This year’s IPSSO basketball summer season brought together a wonderful group of students from Years 3–6, forming both our junior and senior teams. Throughout the season, every player showed steady improvement in their skills, playing with determination, stamina and great team spirit.
Our senior team faced some exceptional opponents and played with grit in every match, narrowly missing out on the finals after placing 3rd in their pool. The junior team progressed to the finals and finished 4th overall in the competition, showing resilience and remaining humble in defeat.
Well done to both teams on a fantastic season!

Cricket

It was a fantastic year of cricket, filled with growth, teamwork, and plenty of memorable moments. Our Junior team enjoyed a great season of learning the game and having a go, with modified rules helping every player build confidence and skills. Their hard work paid off as they developed strong teamwork and earned a spot in the finals, finishing in third place. The Senior team had a competitive season where the quality of bowling often defined each match. As the season progressed, the boys built strong relationships and encouraged one another, which was wonderful to see. Their efforts were rewarded with a finals appearance and a third place finish - a great celebration for the team. All the best to our Year 6 students as they head into high school and join the MISA competition. This was my first year coaching cricket, and I’m truly thankful for such a great group of students who represented our college so well.

Teeball/Softball

This year’s teeball and softball season was one to remember, with both our junior and senior teams making it through to Finals Day undefeated. Their journey was marked by outstanding sportsmanship and determination, setting a wonderful example for our school community.
The junior team faced a tough challenge in their final against St Euphemia. The game was a nail-biter from start to finish, with both sides showing incredible skill and resilience. In the end, it came down to the very last play to decide the champions. Our juniors held their nerve and secured a thrilling 7–6 victory. It was one of the best teeball games of the season, showcasing the talent and spirit of both teams.
Meanwhile, the senior team demonstrated confidence and control from the opening innings of their final against Georges River Grammar. With strong batting and solid defence, they maintained their lead throughout the match. Their consistent performance earned them a well-deserved 5–3 win, capping off an undefeated season in style.
Congratulations to both teams for their remarkable achievements. Their success reflects not only their skill on the field but also their commitment to supporting one another and playing with integrity.

Oztag
The 2025 Oztag season has officially come to an end, and what an exhilarating journey it has been! Both our Junior and Senior teams represented the school with outstanding pride and enthusiasm. Throughout the season, we witnessed remarkable growth, individually and as teams, as players developed their confidence, strengthened their skills, and embraced every challenge thrown their way.
Across the many games played, students showed noticeable improvement in their passing, tagging, and spatial awareness. More importantly, they learned the value of teamwork, communicating effectively, supporting one another, and celebrating both the big wins and the small victories. Their commitment at training and determination during matches truly reflected their passion and dedication to the sport.
To all our players, Junior and Senior, thank you for representing our school with such pride. You demonstrated discipline, resilience, and strategic thinking skills that will continue to benefit you both on and off the field. We are proud of your efforts and the positive attitude you displayed throughout the season.
Well done on a fantastic year of Oztag!
